LYNYRD SKYNYRD CANCELA TOUR NO BRASIL . CHEAP TRICK VEM EM SEU LUGAR

A banda LYNYRD SKYNYRD, anunciou o cancelamento da sua turnê junto com o Deep Purple e Tesla.

No comunicado oficial a banda explica que o motivo se deu por que a filha do vocalista Johnny Van Zant foi diagosticata com Leucemia linfoide aguda (LLA).
Sendo assim o vocalista irá se dedicar a estar junto com a filha durante o tratamento.
A LLA (Leucemia linfoide aguda) é um tipo de câncer do sangue e da medula óssea que afeta os glóbulos brancos.

Em seu lugar virá a banda americana CHEAP TRICK. A data já consta no site oficial da banda (http://www.cheaptrick.com/tour-dates.html).

The members of Lynyrd Skynyrd are disappointed to announce that they are cancelling their upcoming appearance on the Solid Rock Tour with Deep Purple and Tesla.

Lynyrd Skynyrd Member, Johnny Van Zant’s daughter has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (ALL) and is undergoing aggressive treatment for the foreseeable future.
Johnny will be taking the coming months to focus on his daughter’s treatment and health. Lynyrd Skynyrd would like to apologize to the supportive South American fans with the promise of coming back in the future.

In the meantime, the band’s good friends and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members, Cheap Trick, will be joining the tour in December.

Frontman, Robin Zander says, “We are excited to be joining Deep Purple and Tesla in South America as part of the Solid Rock Tour…just wish it was under different circumstances. Our thoughts and prayers are with Johnny, his daughter and all of our friends in the entire Lynyrd Skynyrd family.”
